Ms. Suzanne Mandong was posted as UNFPA Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Representative a.i. in September 2023. She has over 35 years of experience in the diplomatic, development and humanitarian fields. She served as UNFPA Representative in Burundi, Officer-In-Charge in Eritrea and Uganda, and Representative a.i. in Ethiopia.

Prior to joining UNFPA in 1992, Ms. Mandong served in Cameroon's Foreign Service and in the diplomatic missions in Moscow and New York. 

A national of Cameroon, Ms. Mandong holds a Diploma in International Relations and a Master's Degree in Social Sciences.
