Evacuation out of Goma was successful for 04 national staff with 10 dependants have been escorted to Gisenyi by MONUSCO (27/01/2025), 01 international staff evacuated to Entebe, Uganda (25/01/2025), 17 staff with 76 dependants (including dependants of UNFPA’s iInternational staff working outside of North Kivu and DRC) are still in Goma waiting for evacuation pending the security situation allows. 5 Critical Staff (01 International and 04 national) remain in Goma supporting the ongoing engagement and preparing for humanitarian response.
